One of
the challenges of being in a long travel is the packing stage. As much
as possible, we would like to bring everything that we want which may
cause to over pack. It is recommended to pack lightly as you might
encounter more challenges by packing too much. To avoid hassles, you
should learn to determine which you really needed and what not to pack.
Ordinary products and items.
You should not pack items which can be bought and found anywhere. Some
of the examples are tissue, napkin, razor, nail polish and others.
Excessive clothes and shoes.
Most of the time, seventy percent of our belongings consist of
clothing. Refrain from packing more than you need. Choose light and
comfortable clothes and shoes. Learn to mix and match so that you won't
have to pair each attire with a specific shoe.
Beauty routines.
This is especially applicable for women. Some women tend to over pack
by bringing the entire beauty routines. Prioritize toiletries and
those items you are using that cannot be easily purchased anywhere. If
you really need to wear make-up, it won't hurt to bring the basic.
Guidebook and other reading materials.
Bring only one guidebook and a book which you can read to pass the
time. You can find other reading materials provided by the plane or by
the hotel.
Valuables and jewelry. Save
yourself from the possibility of losing your jewelry and other
valuables. If not necessary, do not take them. Travelers and new
faces are the common targets of thieves and criminals. It is better to
wear fake jewelry if you really need one. You will be easily noticed
if you wear a complete set of sparkling jewelry.
Gadgets and electronic devices. You will need to determine what is necessary. What could be necessary are your phone, charger, adapter, camera and laptop.
